Our unavoidable production waste becomes animal feed

When manufacturing our products, we attach great importance to the responsible use of resources. We try to avoid organic waste from the outset through optimised processes and regular training of our employees. Nevertheless, production residues that we can no longer use are still generated. We make these available to a Swiss processor as a basis for the production of animal feed.

Our approach is based on the principles of the circular economy: raw materials should be kept in high-quality cycles instead of ending up as waste. By using production by-products, rework and alternative sales channels, we not only reduce waste but also contribute to the conservation of natural resources. In this way, we reduce pressure on the environment, increase raw material security and create a variety of ecological and economic benefits.

At the same time, we ensure that our value creation is efficient, safe and compliant with the law. Hygiene, food safety, occupational safety and traceability are central pillars of this approach. With our consistently applied continuous improvement process (CIP), we ensure that quality is maintained and productivity is increased.
