Our priority: climate protection and CO2 reduction

We are committed to sustainable climate protection. By voluntarily joining the Energy Agency for Industry (EnAW) programme, we have been actively reducing CO2 emissions and optimising our energy efficiency since 2013. An EnAW target agreement is recognised by the federal government, the cantons and our partners in the economy.

The EnAW evaluates each company’s cost-effective energy saving potential and, on this basis, formulates company-specific targets for the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. A customised list of measures is then drawn up, which enables the company to achieve its mandatory and voluntary targets. The company decides when to implement which measure.
