RecyPac - Circular plastic and beverage cartons

Together for a Switzerland-wide recycling system

As part of the "Collection 2025" project, organisations along the entire value chain worked together on a ciruclar economy for plastic packaging and beverage carton. This will be put into practice with the newly founded organisation in November 2023. In the future, the organisation will coordinate the collection and recycling of plastic packaging (except PET beverage bottles) and beverage cartons in Switzerland. Recycling conserves resources, saves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and creates secondary raw materials.

We are one of the founding member of the new voluntary industry organisation. We want to actively promote far-sighted and sustainable solutions for plastic packaging.

In 2022, we have signed the Pact "Closing cycles for plastic packaging and beverage cartons". Numerous companies along the entire value chain are committed to the goal of establishing a sustainable circular economy for plastic packaging and beverage cartons in Switzerland.

Thereby, everyone makes a joint contribution to a sustainable future: away from a linear system towards a sustainable circular economy for packaging in Switzerland. We take responsibility and together we implement a sustainable circular economy for plastic packaging and beverage cartons.
