Intelligent and fully automated: our new pallet warehouse
At our Malters site, more than 1,300 pallet spaces have been created in the high-bay warehouse. For the first time, the finished pallets can now be stored at the same location straight after production. This makes the work of our warehouse employees much easier.
Storage and retrieval are now performed not only professionally, but also in a standardised manner. With more than 15,000 movements per year, internal processes are considerably simplified. In addition, we can save around 37,500 truck kilometres a year, as commuting between the various production and warehouse locations is no longer necessary.
