Recycle waste
We like cycles – even when it comes to waste
Through circular economy, waste becomes valuable materials and is becoming increasingly important. But professionally managed recycling in companies is also meaningful from an economic perspective.
We generate both organic and inorganic waste. The most sustainable way to act is to avoid creating waste in the first place. What we try to achieve with appropriate training of employees and process optimization. Nevertheless, waste continues to be generated and is recycled as best as possible.
Our operational waste management is based on the internationally valid waste pyramid.

We collect and recycle all possible waste fractions in Switzerland
As a result of the merger of the Trimbach site with Malters, the waste volume in Malters has increased significantly. For this reason, our internal disposal and recycling area was reorganized in 2023, as it is used by many departments. Now there is a defined order and clear allocation of space per fraction, so that it is easier for everyone to collect the waste correctly.
We also paid attention to occupational safety and health protection so that our employees can recycle in a safe manner.

We currently recycle the following fractions:
- Reclaimed wood and wooden pallets
- Waste paper and cardboard
- Aluminum and tin cans
- Batteries and accumulators
- Printer kits
- Computer equipment and electronic waste
- Plastic foils
- Container of cleaning agents
- Dresses with branded print
- Fluorescent tubes
- PET bottles
- Technical fats and oils
- Old system parts, various metals
In order to reuse the collected fractions, we rely on competent external help, which we found in our partnership with Schneider Umweltservice.
